Aims & scope

Urology and Urological Cancer Research is dedicated to advancing the field and aims to become a high-impact, peer-reviewed academic platform in urology and urological oncology. Our mission is to publish original research that deepens understanding of the physiological and pathological mechanisms of the urological system and drives innovation in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The scope of Urology and Urological Cancer Research is both broad and deep, encompassing but not limited to the following areas:

Urological oncology: Basic, translational, and clinical research on malignancies including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer.

Urological diseases: Research on benign prostatic hyperplasia, urolithiasis, urinary tract infections, neurourology, female urology, pediatric urology, andrology, and sexual medicine.

Advanced diagnostics and imaging: Novel imaging techniques (e.g., multiparametric MRI, PET-CT), AI-assisted diagnosis, and advances in pathology.

Surgical innovation and technology: Focus on robot-assisted surgery, laparoscopic and single-port surgery, endoscopic techniques, interventional urology, telesurgery, and surgical device development.

Epidemiology and public health: Studies on disease burden, risk factors, prevention strategies, and health economics.
