Pathology Research is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of human diseases through high-quality basic, translational, and clinical pathology research. The journal provides a comprehensive platform for disseminating innovative scientific discoveries and promoting the integration of pathology with clinical diagnosis, prognostic assessment, therapeutic decision-making, and precision medicine. Covering the full spectrum of pathology—including surgical pathology, molecular pathology, cytopathology, experimental pathology, and diagnostic pathology—Pathology Research places particular emphasis on emerging fields that are transforming modern pathology, such as digital pathology, computational pathology, artificial intelligence-assisted diagnosis, data-driven pathology, whole-slide imaging, multi-omics technologies, spatial biology, and quantitative image analysis.
