Metabolism and Target Organ Damage (M&TOD) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing clinical, basic, and translational research on metabolic diseases and the mechanisms underlying target organ damage, including the cardiovascular system, liver, kidneys, pancreas, and other organs.
The journal covers a broad spectrum of metabolic disorders—such as obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hyperuricemia—and addresses related biomarkers, diagnosis, prognosis, and innovative therapeutic strategies. In addition, M&TOD places strong emphasis on non-animal experimental models, applications of artificial intelligence, as well as research in public health and health policy.
