James Henderson Naismith, Ph.D., Rosalind Franklin Institute, the University of Oxford, Oxford, UK 

Prof. Naismith obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Edinburgh and University of Manchester (UK), respectively. After finishing his postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (USA), Dr. Naismith became a faculty member at University of St Andrews (UK). Currently, Dr. Naismith is the professor and Director of the Research Complex at Harwell, and the director of Rosalind Franklin Institute, University of Oxford. He has published nearly 300 papers on international journals including Nature, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Nature Communications, Nucleic Acids Research and PNAS. Renowned for his investigations of protein structure by X-ray crystallography and targeted therapy by small molecules, Dr. Naismith is elected as a fellow of the Royal Society (UK), the Academy of Medical Sciences (UK), the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Royal Society of Biology (UK).

Günter P. Wagner, Ph.D., Yale Systems Biology Institute and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Yale University, New Haven, USA 

Günter P. Wagner is a pioneer of the field of evolutionary developmental biology. His research interest is the evolution of gene regulation, evolutionary medicine, and reproductive sciences. Prof. Wagner spent many years at the Max Planck Institutes for Biophysical Chemistry and Developmental Biology (Germany), and Department of Zoology, U. Vienna (Austria). Currently, he is the Alison Richard Professor emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University, Research Professor at the Yale Systems Biology Institute and adjunct professor at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine. Prof. Wagner has published around 300 academic papers, including Nature, Nature Genetics, Genome Research, Nature Reviews Genetics, NEJM, PNAS, Science Advances and so on. Prof. Wagner received the MacArthur Fellowship and he was elected Corresponding Member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering and the US National Academy of Sciences.

Yu-quan Wei, Ph.D., Professor and Director of National/State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy and Clinical Cancer Center, West China Hospital, West China Medical School, Sichuan University, Chengdu. He was educated at West China University of Medical Sciences for a bachelor's degree in Medicine and a Master's Degree in Medicine, and educated at Kyoto University in Japan for a Doctoral Degree. His major research interests include targeted therapy, signal transduction, gene and cell therapy, and cancer vaccines. He has published more than 300 papers in international journals including Nat Med, Nat Commun, PNAS, Blood, Cancer Res, Clinic Cancer Res, J Immunol, and J Biol Chem, etc. He was selected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. He is now President of China Medicinal Biotech Association. He has served as an associate editor of Human Gene Therapy and Editorial Board Member of several International Journals.
