To support the long-term sustainability of the journal and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality editorial, peer review, and publication services, Malignancy Spectrum will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC).

This policy applies exclusively to manuscripts that are submitted on or after 1 July 2026.

The APC applies to the following article types: Original Article, Review, Case Report, Editorial, Commentary, Perspective, Letter to the Editor, and Short Communication.

APC Rates

● Long articles (Original Article, Review, Case Report): USD 1000 per article

● Short articles (Commentary, Perspective, Letter to the Editor, Short Communication): USD 500 per article

● Editorials: No APC

Authors may request a waiver or reduction of the APC. Waivers or discounts are available for authors from low-income countries or regions, as well as those affiliated with institutions directly under the Ministry of Education, among others. Requests should be submitted to the editorial office (msp2@pub.hep.cn) with a brief justification and, where applicable, supporting documentation. All requests will be assessed at the discretion of the editorial office.
