This study systematically investigated the effects of dispersion methods (hand stirring (HS), mechanical stirring for 5 min (MS5), and ultrasonication for 10, 15, and 20 min (UL10, 15, 20) and polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) dosage on the dispersion quality and stability of graphene oxide (GO) suspensions using UV-vis spectroscopy, LF-NMR, and visual analysis. GO-polymer modified cement mortar (GOPMC) was prepared and FTIR, XRD, LF-NMR, SEM were used to assess the fluidity, mechanical strength, phase composition, pore structure and microscopic morphology of GOMPC. Results indicate that UL15 combined with GO:PCE=1:2, achieves peak dispersion stability. Although well-dispersed GO slightly reduced GOMPC fluidity, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) can significantly improve the fluidity. Synergistically, optimized GO and EVA enhanced 28 d compressive and flexural strength, primarily due to stimulated hydrate nucleation, refined porosity and microstructure.
