Health Behaviors and Intervention Strategies in Patients with Deep Vein Thrombosis: A Narrative Review

Abstract

Healthy behaviors are a crucial component in disease prevention and have gained widespread attention in recent years. For patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), adopting good health behaviors not only helps reduce the occurrence of complications but also significantly improves quality of life and lowers the risk of disease recurrence. This review summarizes recent advances in the concept, current status, and intervention strategies related to health behaviors among DVT patients. It also suggests that efforts should be made to enhance the health behavior levels of DVT patients, actively develop specific tools, explore the multidimensional factors influencing health behaviors in DVT patients, and establish scientifically-based and systematic health behavior intervention programs for DVT patients, in order to provide a reference for future research on health behaviors in DVT patients.
