Biosketch:

Dr. Zhou is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Biomedical Engineering at the Yale University. He is a leading expert in the development of technologies for drug delivery to the brain, non-viral gene delivery, and the application of these technologies for treating neurological diseases. His research has led to clinical translation of several therapies for the treatment of neurogenetic diseases and cancers. Dr. Zhou has published over 80 research articles and received numerous grants and awards. He has served on various review panels for funding agencies and expert panels for the pharmaceutical industry. Dr.Zhou is an elected Fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
