Biosketch:

Yue-Shan Piao graduated from Niigata University Graduate School of Medicine and Dental Sciences (Japan) and obtained a PhD (Medical Science) in March, 2002. She is currently professor and vice chairman of Department of Neuropathology, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China. Her main areas of scientific interest were brain tumor and epileptogenic lesions (clinicopathology and molecular pathology of Focal cortical dysplasia, Long term epilepsy associated tumors, tuberous sclerosis and other malformation of cortical development, etc.), and allied diseases (mainly diagnostic pathology of demyelinating disease, vascular disease and neurodegenerative disease.
