Biosketch:
Prof. Niu is a molecular and cellular neuroscientist to study the epitranscriptional regulatory network in the brain. She completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science in Nagasaki University (Japan), and postdoctoral training in WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer (France) and Kurume University (Japan). Her research interests focus on investigating the role of RNA m6A methylation in neurodevelopment, neurodegeneration and malignant tumors. The long-term goal of her team is to combine various disciplines to understand the roles of RNA epigenetics in neurological disorders, thus offering novel insights to develop better diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
