Biosketch:

Zhipeng, Liu Ph.D., is a professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, and the Director of the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Neural Regulation and Repair. She is the Principal Investigator of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Major Research Instrument Development Project. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science from Zhejiang University, and Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Peking Union Medical College. Her primary research focuses on functional imaging methods and technologies based on the coupling effects of multi-physical fields (electrical, magnetic, and acoustic), non-invasive precise neural electromagnetic modulation techniques, and the application studies in biological tissues.
