Field of Expertise:

Dr Chen’s research efforts focus on patients with cervical spine conditions, including CVJ malformation, cervical spondylosis, cervical OPLL, cervical spine and spinal cord tumor. He is the principal investigator of cervical spine research program and directs a laboratory specifically studying anatomy and biomechanics. He also devotes himself to clinical and translational research with the goal of applying his findings to new treatment for patients. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, and has presented his research at dozens of national and international conferences.
