Biosketch:

Professor Bao Xinjie is the chief physician, assistant director of the Department of Neurosurgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). He is also the master’s supervisor and has served as the principal investigator of “Stem Cell and Translational Research”, the National Key Research and Development Program of China. His research areas include regenerative repair after neurological injury, basic and clinical translational research of pituitary adenomas. He serves as the principal investigator of “Stem Cell and Translational Research”, the National Key Research and Development Program of China (2018). He has also presided over a number of national, provincial and ministerial projects, including National 863 Programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Beijing and CAMS Initiative for Innovative Medicine. He has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles, including more than 30 SCI papers. He has applied for and been granted 6 patents.
