Extreme Materials (EM) is a peer-reviewed open access journal. It publishes studies of materials functioning under extreme environments, including those having extreme properties.

EM accepts submissions of original research and reviews, including those on the design, processing, structure-property relationships, performance and life-time prediction of extreme materials from both fundamental and application-oriented perspectives.
