Qi Zhou, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS); Beijing Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, China. Prof. Zhou's research interests cover stem cell, reproductive, and developmental biology, and he is also dedicated to promoting the application of stem cells to clinical use. He has been serving as the chief scientist of several national and CAS research projects in areas of reproductive and developmental biology, and stem cells, and has published over 190 papers in SCI journals. Prof. Zhou has been awarded many prizes and honours, including TWAS Prize for Biology, the Second Class Award of National Natural Science Award of China, and Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation.

Yunfeng Lin, Sichuan University, China 

Yunfeng Lin, D.D.S., M.D., Ph.D., is a Full Professor and Vice Director of State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases, West China College of Stomatology, Sichuan University. His main research focus on Stem Cell Biology, DNA Nanomaterial and Tissue Regeneration, including bone, cartilage, tooth, fat regeneration et al. He has published over 120 SCI papers as corresponding author or first author, including Materials Today, Nano Letters, Small, Journal of Dental Research et al. His papers have been cited for more than 4,300 times. Dr. Lin has edit 7 English books. He received National High-level personnel of special support program of China, Young Scientific and Technological Innovation Leader of China, Chinese Youth Science and Technology Award, Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award, Henry Fok prize for young teachers in Colleges and Universities, New Century Excellent Talents of Chinese Ministry of Education and National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of China.

Glyn Stacey

Glyn Stacey, International Stem Cell Banking Initiative, UK

Glyn Stacey has a background in microbiology and cancer research and has worked on the development of cell substrates for manufacture of biological medicines for over 25 years. Currently, he is the coordinator for the International Stem Cell Banking Initiative (www.iscbi.org) and the International Director for the International Stem Cell Bank Beijing and an advisor to the International Stem Cell Resources Center, Beijing. He is involved in PG teaching programmes at Univ. College London, Kings College London, Univ. of Bedfordshire and the Univ. of Suffolk, and also advises in various cell therapy projects in the UK, EU, US and Asia..

Shyh-Chang Ng, Institute of Zoology, CAS/Beijing Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, China 

Shyh-Chang Ng is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Stem Cell and Reproductive Biology, Institute of Stem Cell & Regeneration, Institute of Zoology, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his B.Sc. (summa cum laude) from Princeton University and Ph.D. from Harvard University. After his stint as a Principal Investigator at the Genome Institute of Singapore, he joined the Institute of Zoology as a Professor. He was one of the early pioneers in stem cell metabolism, with a focus on stem cells’ metabolic programming during tissue regeneration and aging, especially in muscles. For his work in regenerative biology, he has received awards from the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), the VcanBio Prize for Medicine, and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).

Ling Wu

Ling Wu, InVitro Cell Research, LLC, Englewood, NJ, USA 

Dr. Ling Wu is working as a senior scientist in a biotech company based in the New York metropolitan area. He is leading an R&D program to develop an injectable stem cell-based product to treat osteoarthritis. He uses bioreactor and FACS (fluorescence-activated cell sorting) to manufacture the cells that lay down the extracellular matrix. He is also in charge of a program to develop products to treat peripheral nerve degeneration. In the third program, he is leading to develop an immune-modulatory treatment based on MSC derived extracellular vesicles. In his scientific career, he authored more than 40 papers on peer-reviewed journals. His H-index is 23, and his papers were cited for about 2000 times.
