FORENSIC SCIENCE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PAST AND PRESENT

Abstract

The article, based on the book «The History of Forensic Medicine» under the editorship of doctor of medical sciences, Professor, Burkhard Madea, provides detailed information about forensic examination in the United States of America, is the modern organizational structure of the service, shown the history of its creation, development and complexity of development. The problems of the service, its main functions and structure are noted, the educational process that passes through the professional life of medical forensic experts of the United States is described, and the role of medical communities and associations in this regard is noted.
