The article is devoted to the difficulties of diagnosing HIV-associated infections and the importance of the histological method of research in solving this problem. For clarity, there is a case from practice. After the forensic medical examination of the corpse, a preliminary forensic diagnosis is formulated as «lower-floor pneumonia».
