Abstract

The article summarizes the results of the implementation in the Southern Regional Medical Center FMBA of Russia one of the directions of the Programme for modernization of the healthcare system - information technology. Considered the basic directions of the Programme implementation and methods for their realization.The conclusion is that the use of information technologies is absolutely necessary for fully-fledged activities of any medical organization.
