The article is devoted to the design of technological containers for storage, domestic and regional transportation of body parts of passenger cars on the example of the container for an automobile roof. Development of a method of designing of a technological container is carried out using SolidWorks software.

The mathematical model of gear cutting operation and the algorithm of parametric optimization of the machining process of a ring gear are developed by the authors. There are presented the ways of improving of manufacturing methods for gear cutting process.
This article presents the analysis of the influence of cutting speed and the thickness of a cut layer on stability of a cutting land. Based on the analysis there is considered the design of the cutting part of a spiral drill bit with more uniform distribution of stability of cutting points, compared to a usual drill bit. The authors established the equation describing the projection of a cutting land onto a plane perpendicular to the axis of the drill bit.
On the base of statistical analysis of published data on the mechanical properties there established correlation relationships of tensile strength, elongation, necking with the chemical composition of titanium alloys of different classes.
In the paper the authors present the results of studies on the influence of the plasma arc current, the distance from the nozzle of the plasma torch to workpiece surface, speed of surfacing and the workpiece material (40X, 19ХГНМА, X18H9T steels) on the formation of the geometric dimensions of the deposited metal zone, structures and properties of built-up Stellite 190W.
There is considered a technique of technological synthesis of mechatronic machine-tool systems for multiaxis machining in the paper. The technique is visual, universal and implemented with the use of CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM system of SolidWorks software.
The conditions of engagement of grinding wheel with teeth of the cylindrical wheel when intermittent profile grinding are considered in the paper. There are investigated the possibilities of reducing the thermal stress of the grinding process by means of use of highly-porous abrasive wheels, limitation of specific speed of metal removal and sector sequence of teeth grinding.

There are presented the results of analytical studies of the strength and dynamic characteristics of cutting tools for heavy machine tools.
The authors considered the problem of synthesis of multilayer coatings with nano-dispersed structure using the process of assistance filtered cathode-vacuum-arc deposition. The effect of high-energy assisting ions, generated by a special device (implanter), which the ВИТ-3 vacuum-arc setting was equipped with, is analyzed in the paper. The mechanisms of modifying the properties of the deposited coatings and cutting properties of carbide inserts with coatings obtained in assisting cathode-vacuum-arc deposition with filtration of ion-vapor flow are analyzed as well.
Modern machinery is impossible without information technology. Machine tools are the outstanding representatives of the symbiosis of mechanics and electronics. Despite the abundance of parameters which are controlled in machine tools, the most important one is the rotational accuracy of machine spindle assembly. The developed test bench is designed on the base of National Instrument, the modern information system, and allows to measure the rotational accuracy of a spindle assembly.
Mathematical simulation presupposes the search for optimal solutions. Control of the parameters of vibration of objects and structures allows to extend their service life. The authors analyzed the influence of parameters such as channel power ratio m, the angle of parallelism β, the angle α of error of optical reversal on the stabilization factor K.

The authors formulated the boundary value problem of determination of the stress-strain state of the visco-plastic deformable body in relation to the processes of warm extrusion into conical dies and established hypothesis assumed in its formulation.
An elastic bending of a sheet with various properties of layers is considered. The relationship for determining the distance from the neutral layer to the interface of the metal layers is derived. Graphically there is presented the change in the relative magnitude of a neutral layer depending on properties of material layers and different thickness of layers of deformable sheet.
