The Influence of Carbon on the Properties of Cast Steels with 3% Chromium

Abstract

This paper considers the effect of carbon on the hardening temperature and cast steel drawing for the hot working die steel of the following structure : 0,23-0,59%С and 3%Cr. The optimal temperature of hardening and drawing are defined. Finally, the paper studies the effect of carbon on the cast steel mechanical properties.
