Propulsion of Logging Machines with Individual Electromechanical Wheel Drives of Rolling Over Type
The article examines the possibility of a rolling propulsion device with an individual electric drive on forest chopping machines. The mathematical model of the propulsion operation on soils with little bearing capacity is designed and efficiency comparison is conducted depending on power consumption for the bearing area formation.
