Special Purpose Tool for High-precision Honing of Cylinder Block Liner

Abstract

The paper presents the design of a special tool for high-precision honing of cylinder blocks liners of various types and models of internal combustion engines. This tool allows to finish a wide range of diameters without repurposing, by using two-stage planetary transmission and device for microsupply of honing blocks.
