Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of leaching of copper, nickel, cobalt and iron from metallurgical slag. It is shown that ferric sulfate solutions produced during the oxidation of bivalent iron by associations of acidophilic chemolithotrophic bacteria, adequately allowed to transfer non-ferrous metals into the liquid phase in 1 hour at a temperature of 70 º C. Thus the extraction of copper reached 90%, nickel - 88%, cobalt - 67% and extraction of iron into a solution was about 30%.
