ASSESSMENT OF AWARENESS OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF OSTEOPOROSIS
The prevalence of osteoporosis in Russia is about 10%, and in the age group over 50 years — up to 25-35%. The role of primary care physicians in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this disease is high, because 80% of patients seeking medical help in primary health care. The article presents the results of the assessment of the awareness of the general practitioners (family doctors) on the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of osteoporosis
