The 155th anniversary of the birth of L.G. Bellarminov
The article is dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of the academician L.G. Bellarminov. In pre-revolutionary Russia he founded the biggest school of professors - ophthalmologists. On its initiative, “flying groups” to eliminate avoidable blindness were created. The authors consider his life, scientific and pedagogic activities.
