ORAL HEALTH STATUS AMONG FOREIGN STUDENTS OF PEOPLES' FRIENDSHIP UNIVERSITY OF RUSSIA FROM DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE WORLD

Abstract

420 foreign first year students of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia were examined for oral health status. The main dental indexes were analyzed. The worse oral hygiene was observed among students from Africa and Asia. The highest level of DMFT was detected among students from Latin America and Middle East. The highest level of CPI was detected among students from Asia. During the first year of studying caries and periodontal diseases trend to increase in all groups. Recommendations for dental diseases prevention were made for each region group.
