Abstract

The expert evaluation of primary medical documentation is one of the methods of studying the level of medical care quality. It allows to judge about the correlation between medical care, which is provided to patients with certain type of illness and standards of diagnostic and treatment process.There is a high prevalence of periodontal diseases among the population of Russia. According to researches, the prevalence of inflammatory periodontal diseases increases with the age of the patients (to 81% among 35-44-yr-olds and to 100% among 65-yr-olds), as well as the severity of disease. The present research shows the analysis of the quality of medical documentation filling based on the example of periodontological department of the Moscow dental clinic.
