The experience with the application of Koagil VII for the teeth extraction in a patient presenting with hemophilia complicated by high titers of factor VIII inhibitor
The authors describe a patient presenting with hemophilia complicated by high titers of factor VIII inhibitor who had to undergo teeth extraction necessitated by chronic periodontitis. Special emphasis is laid on the method for teeth extraction, pre- and postoperative treatment and substitution hemostatic therapy with the use of the new Koagil VIII preparation (Russia). Taken together with peculiar anesthetic procedures, the proposed approach made possible surgical intervention without serious hemorrhagic complications.
