Complications and disadvantages of removable dental prostheses, and ways for optimization of repeated dental prosthetics

Complications and disadvantages of removable dental prostheses, and ways for optimization of repeated dental prosthetics
The authors of the article analyze cases of complications and disadvantages of the use of removable and clasp dental prostheses; measures for optimization of repeated prosthetics were developed. It was demonstrated that the most frequent complications of primary prosthetics using removable constructions were periodontal inflammatory processes, progressive worsening of prosthesis fixation, and lack of habituation to prosthetic constructions. Complications of the use of clasp prostheses were solitary and were caused by supporting teeth pathology or ineffective clammer fixation of the prostheses.
