Placenta organization significantly depends on trophoblast cells functional activity. Pregnancy complications like preeclampsia are accompanied by trophoblast cells proliferation failure. The goal was to study influences of the drugs “Cytoflavin” and “Magnegamma” to proliferation tropblast cells. It is established that the drugs “Cytoflavin and Megagamma” stimulate the proliferation and migration of trophoblast cells. The work is sustained by grants of President of Russia NSh-641.2014.7, SP-424.2012.4, grant RFFI 13-04-00304 А.

The article presents the social characteristics of minor pregnant women who gave birth in SPbSBI “Maternity Hospital N 10”, where there is the city Center for management of pregnancy and childbirth in minors “Little Mother”. According to our data, the most important social aspects of pregnancy among minors were earlier onset of sexual activity (14,5 ± 1,5 years), low educational level and social status, single-parent families and personal disorder. Late registration in the regional policlinic promotes late antenatal detection and impossibility of the prevention of pregnancy complications. The obtained results are generally consistent with those of other authors, also pointing to the low social and economic level of life and accident of early pregnancies in minors female.

There is substantial evidence that urogenital infection is one of the major causes of preterm birth, with bacterial vaginosis being one of these infections. Timely diagnosis and treatment of this condition significantly reduce the rate of preterm birth. The aim of this study was to evaluate the method of pH determination of vaginal fluid in women at a risk of preterm birth. A total of 66 women were included in the study. The women were divided into two groups. Group 1 consisted of 30 women, who measured vaginal pH from week 12 and 36 of gestation twice a week using the test рН-Balance (PremiumDiagnostics, Germany). Group 2 comprised 36 women, who did not measure vaginal pH (control group). Abnormal рН (>4,4) were observed in 9 women (30.0 %). Of them, in 8 women a urogenital infection was observed. All patients received etiotropic treatment. pH measuring in women with a history of miscarriage resulted in 4.5-fold reduction of preterm birth (from 30.0 to 6.7 %). In the control group the was no significant reduction in the rate of preterm birth (from 22.2 to 19.4 %).

High prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and their substantial adverse effect on reproductive health of people necessitate the development of accurate and rapid tests for their diagnostics, in particular those that can be used at point-of-care (POC). The majority of current immunological POC-tests have high specificity; however, their sensitivity is mainly suboptimal. The future of POC-diagnostics of STIs - highly sensitive and specific, robust and affordable - is seen in the development and implementation of molecular diagnostic technologies (amplification, microfluidic, biosensor).

The article reviews literature data on the history of research into the microflora of the genital tract, as well as current views about the vaginal microbiota. Definitions of the vaginal microflora in norm and diseases, such as bacterial vaginosis and vaginitis are presented. Data on main methods of laboratory diagnostics used for the investigation of the vaginal microbiocenosis are summarized. It was concluded that there is a need in further optimization and standardization of the current methods for evaluation of the vaginal biotope.
