Abstract

The present study was designed to estimate the efficacy of the combined treatment of 144 patients presenting with stage I-II dyscirculatory encephalopathy. It was shown that the inclusion of electrical neurostimulation in the treatment program significantly improved the parameters being studied, such as short-term memory, attention, and cognitive abilities as well as cerebral hemodynamics and the psychoemotional state. Taken together, these changes resulted in the improvement of the patients’ quality of life. The analysis of immediate and late results of the treatment has demonstrated the efficacy and desirability of the introduction of neuroadaptive electrical stimulation in the programs of rehabilitative treatment of the patients presenting with dyscirculatory encephalopathy
