Aerosol therapy with mineral waters for the treatment of patients presenting with chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma
The present study was designed for comparative analysis of the curative action of inhalation therapy with the use of a variety of mineral waters in patients presenting with chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma. It has been shown that aerosol therapy with mineral waters produces not only local but also systemic anti-inflammatory effect. Specifically, it improves bronchial patency, activates the lipid peroxidation system and antioxidative mechanisms, and enhances adaptive capabilities of the patients with chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma.
