CLINICO-DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH OSTEOPOROSIS FROM DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS WHO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN BY VALIDITY RISK FACTORS
The aim of the study is analysis of sensitivity and specificity of FRAX method during application of it in different age groups with concomitant pathology and validity risk factors. 7785 women with osteoporosis, who have been chosen according to the bone mineral densitometry test, FRAX estimation of 10 year fracture probability, Leiding, Cooper test scales, EQ-5D questionnaire and analysis of concomitant pathology and bone-mineral metabolism have participated in the trial. The trial has shown the absence of reliable differences with control group according to the estimation of validity risk factors. At the same time reliable differences were found during estimation of factors, which are not included in the FRAX method such as physical and motor activity, emotional disturbances, cognitive dysfunction, concomitant pathology, intensity of symptoms was different in different age groups.
