Abstract

There has been examined 345 patients with schizophrenia undergoing the treatment in psychiatric hospitals of Volgograd and the district. The study of aspects of self-stigmatization in the patients with schizophrenia was carried out with application of a self-stigmatization questionnaire worked out by the workers of a Scientific Centre of psychical health of the RAMS. The collation of the data received in examination of self-stigmatization of the patients with the data of assessment of the quality of life of the same patients allows to objectivize the self-assessment of the patients and reveal the factors influencing both on the self-stigmatization peculiarities and on the quality of life as a whole
