There were presented data on presence of autoregulation signs of bloodflow in cervical veins. They have been confirmed both by character of venous drainage change, by area of section of jugular veins for parameter decrease of arterial inflow and pressure stability in jugular veins regardless their bloodflow dynamics. One of possible problems of this physiologic mechanism might be supporting constant pressure gradient between sinus system and jugular veins.

During investigation of cerebral hemodynamics state with the help of transcranial dopplerography in 124 patients with clinical signs of chronic cerebral ischemia, combined with chronic heart failure there was revealed more significant change of functional test, than a ruler test measuring blood flow velocity in carotid arteries. The most demonstrative ones were the tests, characterizing vasodilatation of cerebral arteries.

Clinical and rontgenologic patterns of pneumonia development have been studied. It was established that rontgenologic research of lungs does not allow revealing presence of inflammatory changes in all cases, leading to underestimation of severity of patients' condition and risk of development of pulmonary complications. Worsening in course of cerebral insults is caused not only by pneumonia but different respiratory disorders, leading to lethality increase.

There was performed analysis of therapeutic influence of 3-gidroxipiridin succinatis, 3-gidroxipiridin nicotinatis and pyracetami on neurologic status, movement activity and on some biochemical blood indicators. The most comprehensible to homeostasis alignment were 3-gidroxipiridin nicotinatis in a dose of 100 mg/kg and 3-gidroxipiridin succinatis in a dose of 50 mg/kg in those groups where preparations had been given 3 days before modeling of cerebral acute ischemia.

There were studied variants of liquor circulation disorders in infants with fetal infection, their clinical picture, risk factors and possibilities of complex treatment.

Neurophysiologic research of patients with arthralgic lesion of knee joints revealed decrease of bioelectrical muscle activity, based on dysfunction of segmented-radicular structures of low extremities, promoting development of «a goose pad» syndrome and dysfunction of vegetative regulation mechanisms.

There was offered a new approach to understanding of adaptation and there were defined criterions for qualitative analysis of social-psychological adaptation. It was shown the possibility of using structural approach to describe social-psychological adaptation with the help of adaptation scales.

There were presented results of comparative research effectiveness of correcting abstinent and post-abstinent psychopathological and somatic-vegetative disorders in 40 thebaic addiction patients with convulsane (Lamotridgine) and with standard medicinal complex - karmamazepin, sonapax, phenazepam. While treating with convulsane there was a quicker and more harmonius reduction of abstinent and post-abstinent disorders, followed by less sedation and relaxation of patients. There were confirmed rehabilitatively significant effects of convulsane - normotimic, nootropic and socializing.

There were revealed and studied basic biological, social-hygienic and clinical predictors of effective usage of aripiprazol in schizophrenia therapy. It was offered new methodological approach for evaluating and forecasting effectiveness of aripiprazol therapy.

There were examined two alternative sides of biological activity of amiospirits- ethanolamine and phosphoethanolamine, and their abilities to increase (pro-oxidant activity) and inhibit (antioxidant activity) lipid peroxidation and generation of active forms of oxygen in model radical-forming systems.

Review of literature on post-traumatic epilepsy was presented: etiology and pathogenesis, clinics, diagnostics, treatment, prophylaxis. Early and late post-traumatic epileptic seizures have been characterized.

There was presented an algorithm of clinico-instrumental diagnostics, making possible to reveal venous discirculation in patients with cerebral ischemia. And this is essential for optimization of etiologic and pathogenetic therapy.

There was described a way of risk level prognosing of fibrosis development in epidural space after surgical resection of lumbar intervertebral disks, including microdisectomy for each patient with diskogenic compression syndromes at pre-surgery period.

There have been studied data of 1037 patients with extrapyramidal pathology (movement disorders), who had been sent to Nizhegorodsky municipal specialized hospital for rendering help at the period of from 16.01.2006 to 31.06.2008. The diagnosis of extrapyramidal disease has been confirmed in 387 (37, 3 %) of patients, it has been changed in 650 (62, 7%). In more than a half of patients (53, 8 %) diagnosis was wrong and treatment was administered incorrectly.

There was performed an analysis of clinical follow-up of temporal epilepsy in a patient of stationary mental department. Severity of patient's case is caused by presence of schizoid hysterical symptomatology and personal disorders. Differential diagnostics of follow-up was presented.

There were covered some aspects of history of doctors' society library in the city of Kazan - foundation, fund formation and its usage. Special attention is paid to the fact of handing over society library's fund to the scientific library of Kazan State Medical University.
