GENDER DIFFERENCES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ALCOHOL ABUSE AMONG PATIENTS WITH COMORBID MOOD AND ANXIETY DISORDERS

Abstract

For determining influence of comorbid anxiety and mood disorders in women on alcohol patterns 75 males and 66 females with alcohol abuse were examined. It was found that presence of comorbid disorders eliminate gender differences in the development of alcohol abuse.
