FEATURES OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF PATIENTS SUFFERING ALCOHOLISM

Abstract

When studying a self-consciousness of 56 alcoholics there were revealed peculiarities of a self-rating, the attitude towards as to the sick person, and also specificity of perception of another. The dominance of protective functions of a self-rating over adaptive and regulatory, and also dominance in an assessment of the environmental characteristics bound to alcohol at patients, denying disease existence is revealed. Results of the real research matter for psychological comprehension of many clinical manifestations of an alcoholism and phenomena of «alcoholic» behavior.
