The authors have been studying Perthes disease for many years. Their first publications on this problem appeared back in 1974. Now, based on an analysis of the world literature, their own experimental studies and a large clinical material (with a follow-up period of up to 25 years), they wrote a major monograph (402 p.) - superbly published, illustrated with many drawings , radiographs, diagrams and tables, with an almost exhaustive list of references (which, unfortunately, does not contain sources in Russian).
