Langerhans cell histiocytosis: problems of nomenclature, diagnosis and therapy
An overview of modern views on the problems of diagnosis and treatment of histiocytosis from Langerhans cells is presented. Criteria for verifying the diagnosis and a complex of mandatory clinical and laboratory examination for this disease, established by the International Society of Histiocytologists, are presented. The clinical manifestations of lesions of various organs and systems are described, taking into account the literature data and our own experience. The indications for therapy and approaches to the choice of the method depending on the form of the disease are discussed.
