Perineal stage of surgery for rectal cancer
We analyzed the results of abdominoanal rectal resections in 210 patients. Of them, 190 patients had various parts of the left colon lowered into the anal canal, and 20 patients underwent abdominoanal resection of the rectum with creation of a single-bore anus.
