Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in patients with Gilbert syndrome
The majority of patients with Gilbert's syndrome experience pain and heaviness in the upper abdomen; they have anorexia and other dyspeptic phenomena. In this regard, the study of the gastrointestinal tract by endoscopy is of particular interest, as it enriches the knowledge of pathological manifestations characteristic of this enzymopathy and allows the identification of concomitant diseases of the digestive organs.
