Respiratory and circulatory disorders in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract

In our opinion, a comprehensive study of hemodynamics and respiratory system in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus is important for early diagnosis of lung and heart damage, which are often little noticeable at the beginning of the disease. For this purpose we studied peculiarities of pulmonary diffusion capacity and its components - membrane (Dm) and blood (V_c); uniformity of alveolar ventilation according to capnography; systolic pressure in pulmonary artery; echocardiography with data processing by computer program with BASIC language translator.
