Abstract

In this post, we would like to share one of our observations. At three o'clock in the morning on 22 / VII-58, a carpenter A., ​​31 years old, picked up on the street, was delivered to the surgical department. He had 4 stab wounds, one of them located in the 5th intercostal space along the anterior axillary line. The wound is linear, 2 cm long, bleeds, penetrating. B-noy unconscious, pale face, rapid breathing, shallow, threadlike pulse, at times on the radial artery is not palpable, blood pressure is not determined. The patient was taken to the operating table with a diagnosis of heart injury. After a transfusion of 450 ml of blood, I regained consciousness, and my pulse could be felt better. The cervical vago-sympathetic blockade on the left was performed. Introduced 20 ml of 0.25% solution of novocaine in 5-6 intercostal spaces on the left of the spine.
