About an overly mobile cecum
Excessive mobility of the right half of the large intestine was first described by Gruber in 1868.It happens in the presence of its own, common partial and common mesentery, often causes intestinal obstruction, in some cases it manifests itself from childhood with daytime short-term paroxysmal pain in the right half of the abdomen, arising, as a rule , after physical exertion "sometimes radiating to the lower back, gradually increasing. Objectively, in this case, the abdomen is soft, painful with deep feeling and rumbling in the right iliac region; radiographically revealed a significant displacement under the ileoclonal angle.
