Intertrochanteric osteotomy with the formation of a canopy according to Girgolav in dysplastic coxarthrosis
The technique of intertrochanteric osteotomy for dysplastic coxarthrosis in combination with the formation of a canopy from the wing of the ilium according to Girgolav is described. General biological and biomechanical aspects of the operation are discussed.
