In October 1996, the staff of Kazan State Medical University in Naberezhnye Chelny conducted a thematic cycle of advanced training for healthcare organizers (mainly chief nurses) "Organizational and methodological support of healthcare management in modern conditions". The final stage of the cycle was the first in Tatarstan scientific and practical conference "Higher nursing education and current problems of healthcare".
