On the issue of subdiaphragmatic abscesses and operations with them
Diagnosis of a subdiaphragmatic abscess, especially early, is extremely often extremely difficult. This difficulty is further compounded by the fact that a subdiaphragmatic abscess is a secondary suffering that complicates some disease, such as: from the growth of the caecum, ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, diseases of the liver and bile ducts, less often diseases of the spleen, exceptionally rarely diseases of the pancreas, kidneys, respiratory tract, female genital organs, other parts of the intestine.
