II Volga Region Scientific Congress of Physicians
Being elected chairman of the Congress, I was able to say in my opening speech that I considered its success to be unquestionable. The reality surpassed all my expectations, proof of which are the following figures: the number of members of Kazan S'ezda was 343, but Saratov S'ezda had 1345 participants, i.e. almost four times more; guest doctors at I Volga S'ezda were only 103, at II S'ezda-567, i.e. 5½ times more; total number of reports heard at Kazan S'ezda was 115, at Saratov-260.
