The doctrine of constitutions and constitutional anomalies (diathesis) in childhood and their biological and pathological significance.
The modern flourishing of the doctrine of constitutions was largely caused by the works of pediatricians published at the end of the last and at the beginning of this century (Escherich's work on status thymico-lymphaticus, Combu — on arthritism, Czernu — on exudative diathesis). Despite this, until now there has been no systematic presentation of the doctrine of constitutions in childhood; therefore the book of prof. Maslova appeared very timely.
