To the essence of the effect of hydriatic procedures on the body Prof. Chernikov (Doctor. Delo, 1924, No. 8-10)
Prof. Chernikov (Doctor. Delo, 1924, Nos. 8-10) comes to the conclusion that “irritation therapy” is the basis of all physiological procedures, similarly to protein therapy. The therapeutic effect is obtained here from the action on the skin, the esophylactic capacity of which increases, and the general and local reactions of the body are excited.
